Suza Academy

The MAM Foundation offers transmission and learning opportunities open to the people of Suza, Cameroon and the rest of the world, through programs aimed at young people and creators. A documentation center and herbarium are open to the public.

Suza Creative

The artistic program locates creation in an a priori 'non-artistic' environment; on the periphery of traditional centers of distribution and the art economy, with the desire to root this creation within communities.

Suza Lev: Why set up a Living Economy Laboratory?

After discussions with Felwine Sarr and Achille Mbembe during their participation in the MOSS fair in 2017 and 2018, the idea was floated to draw inspiration from the work undertaken during the Ateliers de la pensée in Dakar and to imagine a practical implementation of reflections touching on our relationship to the living in the era of the Anthropocene and in a postcolonial context.

Suza's Manifest

For five days, the MAM Foundation welcomes to Grand Suza a wide audience, from Cameroon and beyond. The communities of Suza, resident artists, experts and guest researchers all come together to discover and share the work and projects of the MAM Foundation.

Residency at the Fabrique de Suza

La Fabrique de Suza is the crucible of the MAM Foundation. It is the spatial and mental place where projects are conceived, developed and realized.
