The MAM Foundation offers transmission and learning times open to the people of Suza, Cameroon and the world, through programs for youth and creators. Creative workshops led by men and women of culture, scientists, researchers in residence in a recreational approach, conferences and masterclasses are proposed, all these activities being exclusively related to nature and the living.

The herbarium

A herbarium is currently being created, the fruit of a census and documentation project designed to illustrate the biodiversity and richness of the flora of the Suza territory. The creation of herbarium collections is an important source of scientific, historical and cultural information on the know-how of local people. It will therefore represent an important scientific resource that will enrich knowledge in the field of ecology.

Indeed, in the Littoral region of Cameroon, and particularly in the Suza area, changes in the diversity of species and ecosystems have been observed. One of the major challenges in combating the disastrous consequences of ecocide is to safeguard biodiversity for the well-being of communities here and elsewhere. This project is being carried out with the support of the Herbier National du Cameroun and botanist Marc Jeanson.
