Mareme MALONG (founder of the MAM Foundation) invites us to Suza's manifest #1Four days of celebrating creation, the arts, nature and the living. The theme chosen for this first edition is: "Taking care of people, taking care of the Earth", and while the aim is to activate the levers of a better life, the experiments that will be carried out are not limited to the African continent, since the tools forged here are aimed at the whole world.We have developed a series of activities based on a cross-disciplinary dialogue between scientific and aesthetic approaches, and have conceived our way of inhabiting the world from Suza's point of view, i.e. recognizing both its local character (with its specificities) and its planetary dimension.The activities were set within the timeframe of the event (from Thursday, January 26 to Sunday, January 29, 2023) and in the space of Grand Suza. Thinkers, creators, scientists, researchers, philosophers, artists and social actors from Africa, South America and Europe gathered at the Fabrique de Suza and other locations in the village.
